This
year the Pontardawe festival celebrates its 30th anniversary! It has
developed from a small essentially Celtic folk music-based event into
an important international music festival attracting up to 20,000
visitors. The festival’s reputation has grown since 1978 and it soon
became the festival with the slogan – ''You saw it first at Ponty!''
